Blog #5 - The Simpletons

Proverbs is called the Book of Wisdom. Everybody should know this. What’s its purpose?

“To know wisdom and instruction, to perceive the works of understanding; to receive the instructions of wisdom, justice, and judgement, and equity; to give subtilty to the SIMPLE, to the young man knowledge and discretion. A wise man will hear, and will increase learning; and a man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsel:…” (Prov. 1: 2-6).

The Amplified tells us its so that a person may be able to “steer his course correctly”. Don’t you want to do that? I certainly do even though I have not always submitted to wisdom and it cost me.

Message Translation: its “A manual for living…To teach the inexperienced the ropes; to get a grasp on reality.”

Then it teaches us that if we want wisdom and all its benefits we must first, “Start with God”. Simpletons don’t do that. Who are the simpletons? The easily deceived, seduced, enticed, persuaded, allured, the silly ones, or the foolish. All those terms come out of scripture. They act on what they want or on what they want to hear and then ask God to bless it. Its called flesh. Flatter them and watch them cave; tell them what they want to hear and watch their gullible responses. They believe lies. Its the blind leading the blind. Itching ears. I call it “the Stupid“. And, I have been there. Have you been listening to the news lately? The government thinks voters are stupid. Sadly, they are right. They are easily “conned” by the “Con Artist”. Its one thing for this to happen to an individual but when the majority of a nation and most of the church are like this, now we have major problems.

1 Kings 22:20 “And the Lord said, who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead?”

Lest you should think I’m just being mean, let me share with you one of my blunders. Most people know I love to hunt. I shoot a longbow and have always wanted a trophy buck and a bear. I was told from individuals that I respected that there was a fellow in eastern North Carolina who had a Trophy Management Outfitters business. He had bear and trophy deer. They painted a great picture to me. I wanted to believe it was true. He came up and we met. No problem, “we will get you your bear and deer.” Sounded great. I paid him a lot of money. Hunted a total of about 8 times. No deer of any size and absolutely no bear. Outside of one individual taking one decent deer, the rest of the guys were shooting small bucks and “Bambi”. That’s not “Trophy Management”! It doesn’t work that way. His brochure spoke of making your dreams come true! Yeah, and I’m MR. GULLIBLE. An expensive mistake on my part! My cousin laughed at me and so did the devil. I could have spent that money on new carpet, a nice vacation with my wife, or just given it to a missionary and have gotten a reward! What is it they say? “If its tooooo good to be true it probably is”. Go ahead, rub it in.

Okay, what about this? “If you like your health care, you can keep it! If you like your doctor, you can keep him or her! PERIOD! Everyones premium will go down $2500.00 per year.” Ah, the “AFA“. The Affordable Care Act. RIGHT! And, No closed borders. We can’t have that. Of course not, we’re one big happy family. Bad people won’t come in. Thats right, and while we’re at it, let’s bring in Ebola. We don”t have to be afraid. You can’t get it. This is the U.S.A. And, what is our national debt now? I’m afraid to even look! “I just want to spread the wealth around. I want to make sure everyone gets a FAIR SHOT!” No, you want to steal from people. Thats not Jesus! Or, remember this one, “that business you own, you didn’t build that. Or, in Benghazi, the reason our Ambassador and others were killed was because of this video that reflected the Muslim religion in a bad way. BUT IT WAS NOT AL- QAIDA! RIGHT! And then we have the IRS targeting tax exempt organizations and the President said there was “not one smidgen of evidence of corruption there.” SURE! Oh yes, and Fort Hood was only “Workplace Violence”. Plus, “Your government is not spying on you.” And, oh yes, how long did it take them to get the healthcare website up and its still not right? And one of my favorites, Your president exchanges a traitor for 5 convicted terrorist leaders. But, he leaves one of our men to rot in Mexico without a word spoken about it. Why? He hates the military. Let’s bless the enemy but punish our own. Also, let’s not finish the Keystone pipeline. Why? Simply because it would create jobs. A 1700 mile project that would bring in $7 Billion dollars into our economy. The man must hate America. Its obvious except to the SIMPLETONS. Everything he does seems to me to punish the USA. One scandal after another. One lie after another. One blunder after another. And, the list goes on and on and on. Well, he is just in over his head. Really? No, he knows exactly what he is doing. Then when it happens he gets up and tells the people, “I just found out about it.” RIGHT! The man is narcisistic and a sociopathic liar. And what did Jesus say? “By their fruit ye shall KNOW them”. Systematically, he wants to destroy America. He does these things on purpose. And, our gov’t just sits there and does nothing about LAWLESSNESS. How could we get so duped? SIMPLETONS. No discernment. No Holy Spirit guidance. Strong delusion that they should believe a lie. But why? They received not the love of the truth.

You should read my previous blogs to get the full understanding of what I am saying. And, I believe it is time to deeply repent for what we have allowed in this earth. The last presidential election was very displeasing to the Lord because of the way the people voted. Especially, His people. If Christians had just voted by God’s leading we would not be in such a mess. No, they believed a lie. They voted for what they wanted. And now he covers up the crucifix and told the whole world we were not a Christian nation. Not to mention the way he treats Israel but embraces the Islamic world and calls himself a Christian. What is it going to take to wake us up? Get a grip church. Is he the Antichrist? I don’t know but he is evidently running for the office!

What do we do, Pastor? I’ll talk about what we are doing and how you can help and it has nothing to do with your money. So, relax. I wont be receiving an offering.
